We just finished the best week of the year! RUF Summer Conference is held at Laguna Beach in Panama City. Week two had about 1,200 students from different campuses; Clemson brought about fifty students. Our students spent the week going to seminars about evangelism, relationships, trusting the Bible and so much more! We were fortunate enough to have Tim Udoj speak at our large group every night about sanctification. SuCo is a wonderful way for students to grow in deeper relationships with each other and Christ.

The Hightowers and I were also lucky enough to have some of our students from JSU at week two! It was such a blessing to be able to catch up with them in person and include them in our Clemson hangouts!

I also worked week four of SuCo, when most of RUF’s international students go. Clemson RUF International brought about 23 students to week four. Overall, there were over 300 students that week with about 21 countries represented! Our speaker, Justin Ardou, did a fantastic job going over sanctification. It was many of these students’ first time at a Christian conference hearing the gospel. One of the special things about this ministry is that we have the privilege of ministering to the nations in our backyard.

The school year may have ended, but that doesn’t mean we stop working. Clemson has many students who stay in town during the summer months for work and other activities, creating a unique ministry opportunity. Throughout the summer, we will have a student-led Bible study and various events like lake days and cookouts.

Alright y’all, it’s that time of the year again and I’m actually very excited to get started on fundraising for the upcoming year! This allows me to connect with all of you and focus on building our relationship! This past year was pretty hectic when it came to fundraising, but I’m confident that this year will not have as many surprises.
My budget is the same as last year, $53,489 for the entire year. God has already begun to be faithful in his provision! I’m currently 67% funded for next year! Everything that I had left over from this previous year has gone toward this upcoming year’s budget. This percentage also includes any monthly donations I receive. If you have signed up as a monthly donor, I will be reaching out to you soon to talk about whether you would like to continue to give or not.
I will be making a few trips this summer to TN, so be on the lookout for any emails or texts from me if you’d like to get together!
