Hello, dear friends and family! We are back at it with a new semester of ministry! Check out what we have coming up and the many blessings of the Lord!
Snow Day!
Pictured above are some of our students during Clemson’s snow day the first weekend of school! Classes started on Wednesday the 8th, but we were lucky enough to already get a break and have some fun. A lot of our students hung out on Bowman Field on campus for snowball fights and went to the Dykes for sledding. This was actually such a sweet time before classes and homework came rushing in.
First Couple of Weeks

The first week we had a game night with our students. This was our first event of the semester and was such a fun way to kick things off! There were a lot of new faces and it was awesome to just sit back and watch our students welcome each other.
Our first large group of the semester was on Tuesday, the 14th! Daniel is leading us through the book of Isaiah this semester. We examined Isaiah 6, which discusses the glory of the Lord and how we are transformed by God’s grace. The book of Isaiah is very large and can be intimidating, but I’m so excited to dive into it at Large Group and see how it impacts our students!
One-on-ones with students have started up! This is by far my favorite part of this job. There are plenty of freshman girls for me to meet with, but I’ve already gotten ten new contacts! Pray for me as I try to meet with everyone and navigate all of these different opportunities to share the Word of God.
This past Wednesday I began my Bible Study through the book of Hebrews! I’m so excited to dive into the Word of God with these girls. Please be praying for me as I prepare, and for the students that show up!
SnoCo

We are so excited for our Winter Conference (SnoCo) February 7th-9th!! We will be at Ridgehaven camp spending time in the Word of God, playing games, and creating deeper friendships. Conferences are a formative part of RUF for our students. Most students who go to our conferences solidify the friendships that have started to form in RUF and go on to become leaders on our Ministry Teams. I want to give a big “Thank you” from all of our students to you for your support of this ministry!
Fundraising!
My last newsletter was an update on all of your awesomeness in this ministry! Well, I’m gonna say it again. THANK YOU!!! At the beginning of December, I was still in need of about $16,000 for the rest of this school year in order to be fully funded. I asked in the last newsletter and texted a number of you for some additional support to what you are already giving me. You guys responded! By the grace and glory of the Lord and by your dedication to this ministry, we were able to raise well over what I needed! I am currently FULLY FUNDED for this academic year and even have an additional $9,000 that will pour over into next year!
I can’t express the gratitude I have for each and every one of you! God’s grace has been shown through his people. Because of y’all’s support of this ministry, I can breathe easy and begin to focus primarily on our students and what is happening on campus. Next year’s fundraising budget will begin in June, but any additional donations for this year are more than welcome since it will all go into next year’s anyway.
I will of course send updates through these newsletters, write a postcard toward the end of the semester, and reach out to you guys individually throughout the semester. I actually have begun to pray for five donors every week. I’ve listed each of you throughout the semester and will pray for you on the days listed. I have already begun to text those that I’m praying for, so keep an eye out for a text from me asking for prayer requests!
Prayer Requests
